November 21-22nd, 2025
On 21-22 November, the annual meeting of the Conference of Heads of Geographical Units, which I have the pleasure of chairing in the current term, was held in the hospitable surroundings of the Faculty of Geographical Sciences of Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz.
Deans and vice-deans from academic centres across Poland (the Conference of Heads of Geographical Units – KKJG), in addition to discussing current issues related to teaching and ongoing research in the field of Earth sciences and Socio-Economic Geography at Polish universities, jointly formulated and, by acclamation, adopted a protest concerning the draft Regulation of the Minister of Education on the core curriculum for pre- school education and the core curriculum for general education for primary schools, including for pupils with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities, dated 19 November 2025.
